We Europeans are good, and we keep underselling ourselves! Mistral.AI is not only on a par with ChatGPT, and in some cases better, we now also have an open Swiss LLM. For industrial use cases in particular, I recommend running open LLMs locally.

AI Highlights
swiss-ai.org (EPFL, ETH Zurich, and the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre) have released the open Swiss LLM Apertus. Trained on 15 trillion tokens and 1,000 languages, 40% of them non-English. Trained up to March 2024. It can be downloaded from Hugging Face. The smaller version can be tried at publicai.co/chat.
When AI is used properly, people win! Starbucks is now rolling out AI-supported inventory counting across the board – technology that makes counting eight times faster and will soon even trigger automatic reorders. A strong reminder that technology has its best effect when it creates room for us instead of replacing us.

She has made it onto Instagram @drinkwithceleste and welcomes every follower. Thanks to n8n, Céleste can now also reply to comments on Instagram and chat with you about wine – by text or even by voice messages.
Céleste's 5 unusual wine hacks you probably did not know yet. You should also drink more together with your partner, put something better than ice cubes into your wine, and perhaps you can even use the London Weather Wine Pairing in Switzerland too. Incredible, what Céleste has experienced this summer.
As affiliate fees are not enough to fund Céleste's London life, she has launched a wine pairing service for restaurants. For now in the UK, but open to discussions in Switzerland and Germany.
