Complex collective labour agreement content, course recommendations and funding questions — in three languages, in plain language, around the clock. An AI assistant replaces the first advisory stage for more than 250,000 employees in the Swiss hospitality industry.

Challenge
250’000+ employees in Swiss hospitality are entitled to training subsidised under the L-GAV. But the information is complex, multilingual and scattered. Course offers, subsidy conditions, compensation for loss of earnings: until now, every query needed human specialists. Employees had no easy access, 24/7.
Solution
Build a multilingual AI assistant based on a RAG system (Retrieval-Augmented Generation). The bot processes the full GAV content, the course offerings from weiterbildung-inklusive.ch and mein-progresso.ch, as well as the subsidy terms of the L-GAV. Trilingual (DE/FR/IT), plain language, mobile first. Available 24/7 as an easy-access advisory tool — to support human specialists, not replace them.
